The St. Charles Borromeo Fountain of Youth and the St. Charles Borromeo Middle School hosted the 22nd Annual Krewe of Ormond Mardi Gras Ball at the Ormond Nursing and Care Facility in Destrehan.

More than 60 students were in attendance. Their responsibilities were to plan the ball, serve as escorts, serve the party food and entertain the residents.

The music was provided by Blanche Newsome. The Mistress of Ceremonies was Katie Hymel and the Master of Ceremonies was Casey Rodrigue, both members of the St. Charles Borromeo Fountain of Youth Leadership Team. The Ball is made possible by the Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation.
