Beginning this Saturday, Feb. 27, the St. John Animal Shelter will have a Special Adoption Day the last Saturday of every month from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Anyone who hasn’t seen the new shelter at 488 W. 2nd St. in LaPlace should come join us. And anyone looking to adopt a pet should definitely come by. There is always many furry friends that need a good home.

Of course, the shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Saturday each week.
