RESERVE — Riverside bounced back from a loss to De La Salle with a victory on the road Thursday, topping Loranger 25-21, 25-15, 25-19.
Shea LaFountain had 11 kills and nine aces. Kristy Milioto added nine kills. Toni Hebert had six aces and nine assists while Taylor Terrio had 10 assists.
The win moved Riverside to 11-2 on the season.
“Coming off of a loss where we made a lot of mistakes and hurt ourselves, I thought we went on the road tonight and did a good job of eliminating a lot of those issues,” said Hebert. “I’m looking for us to get back to playing within ourselves. We did a good job serving, I was pleased with that. But we still aren’t exactly where I want us to be.”
Against Academy of our Lady at home on Saturday, the Rebels won in three games, 25-13, 25-23, 25-20.
LaFountain notched 18 kills. Kelsi Roussel and Toni Hebert had four aces each. Hebert also had 16 assists. Terrio had 11 assists and Shelby Deslatte added 40 digs.
De La Salle topped Riverside for the second time this season on Tuesday, 24-26, 25-22, 25-17, 25-19. The Cavaliers (17-1) have handed RA its only two losses of the season.
Chelsey Pritchett led De La Salle with 36 assists. Brittany Deckwa had 19 kills.
“De La Salle played a very good game. Both teams got better for it,” said Kristy Hebert. “But just like last time, we gave up too many easy points.
“I’m happy with our energy as a whole, but we’re still waiting for everyone to get on the same page. We haven’t seen all six girls on the floor have their best game together.”
