Only God has power over you

This is the season that we are reminded of the love, joy and
peace for which Jesus sacrificed his life that we might enjoy. We will hear songs, such as, “Joy to the World” and “Let there be Peace on Earth.”
The Christmas story is the greatest love story of all. It’s about God, Who so loved the world, that He
gave us His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Love, joy and peace are available to anyone who chooses to be free. As I labor in God’s ministry of Get High on Life, I realize that one of the main things that deprive most people of being free is harboring their resentments.
I would like to share the following, which was given to me many years ago:
RESENTMENTS
The moment you start to resent a person you become their slave. They control your dreams, absorb your digestion, rob you of peace of mind and good will and take away the pleasure of your work.
They ruin your spirituality and nullify your prayers. You cannot take a vacation without them going along. They destroy your freedom of mind and hound you wherever you go. There is no way to escape
the person you resent.
They are with you when you are awake. They invade your privacy when you sleep. They are close beside you when you eat, when you drive your car and when you are on the job.
You can never have efficiency or happiness. They influence even the tone of your voice. They require you to take medicine for indigestion, headaches and consciousness before you go to sleep.
So if you want to be a slave, HARBOR YOUR RESENTMENTS.
What better time of year to declare your freedom than this Holy Season and enjoy the love, joy and peace, which is available to everyone.
