Philip J. Icearco, 87, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at 2:55 a.m. He was a native of New Sarpy and a resident of Norco for the past 58 years.

He was the beloved husband of Audrey Keating Icearco, son of the late Anthony and Frances Palotta Icearco and devoted friend of Bob Oubre.

Icearco was member of the Operating Engineers Local Union 406.

Services were held at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco, on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, followed by interment in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in loving memory of Icearco to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 401 Spruce Street, Norco, LA 70079.
