Julie F. Palmisano, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Ormond Nursing and Care Center. She was a retired data entry clerk with Reliance Insurance for 18 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph J. Palmisano Sr.; five children, Vicki P. Centanni (Tony), Joseph J. Palmisano Jr. (Mary), Kevin P. Palmisano, Gina Achord (Scott) and Tammy Westbrook (Ray); two brothers, Eddie and Willie Macloud; two sisters, Gloria Fox and Emily Miguez; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Thomas Macloud and Emilie Mary Guidroz; three brothers, Robert T. Macloud Jr., Irby Macloud and Gary Macloud; two sisters, Norma Hinyup and Barbara Godail; and a very special nephew, Freddie Palmisano.

Visitation and services were held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Entombment followed at the Garden of Memories Mausoleum in Metairie. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences to www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com
