Roy J. DeRoche, 81, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Julie Kilburn DeRoche, father of Roy (Rusty) DeRoche Jr. and Eric DeRoche, grandfather of Eric Jr. and Trey DeRoche and Cori Martin, great-grandfather of Mason and Milly Martin, son of the late Theodore and Louisiana DeRoche and brother of George Arand DeRoche and the late Sheffard, Roland, Nolan and J.W. DeRoche and Shirley Coulon.

He was a native of Gramercy and a resident of River Ridge.

Visitation and services were held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan on Thursday, March 17, 2011. Burial followed in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Cancer Society are preferred. Arrangements were by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.
