Nona Lee King Tamplain, 81, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas Tamplain Jr., mother of Wallace, Donald, Michael, Lee and Thomas Tamplain III, Coleen Rankin, Cynthia Mourain and Mary Ellegood, daughter of the late Lee and Lillian King and sister of Nellwyn Torres, Cecile Deroche and the late Carl King. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was a native of Garyville and a resident of Hahnville.

Services were held on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery.
