According to the district’s website, all public schools in St. James Parish will be closed on Friday, Feb. 4, because of inclement weather conditions. Classes will resume on Monday, Feb. 7.

The district has also notified Nicholls State University of the closure, and the district will not providing transportation for dual enrollment students on Friday. While the instructors of the classes involving dual enrollment students will be advised on the matter, students may attend classes on their own.
