Walter “Butch” Merle Lewis Jr., 62, passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at 6:07 p.m. He was a native of Cape Charles, Va., and a resident of New Sarpy for the past 15 years.

He was the beloved husband of Karla Judd Lewis, father of Ann Marie Lewis, Walter Merle Lewis III and BoJay Lewis, stepfather of Mottie and Travis Judd, brother of Gene Krebs, Keith Krebs, Sherrie Sherretts, Kathy Stanbaugh and Cindy Angels and son of Constance Shriver Krebs and the late Walter M. Lewis Sr. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Butch was an employee of Diversified Well Logging for the past 10 years.
