Linda Fassbender Castay, 44, passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, after her 11-year battle with kidney failure and heart and vascular disease.

She was the beloved daughter of Elliott W. and Lydia R. Fassbender. She is survived by her longtime companion, Warren J. Peyton; children: Jodi Leigh and Christopher Thomas; and grandchild, Ryan W. Christensen Jr. She is also survived by her brothers, William and Troy, and sisters, Mary and Perri. Additionally she is survived by a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in Laplace on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011. Interment will be private.
