Tomorrow’s NOCCA Festival of Spirituals features a trio of local talent

New Orleans Center for Creative Arts is hosting a free Festival of Spirituals Vocal Concert featuring local student performers Kathleen Millet, a freshman at St. Charles Catholic High, Vivian Buchanan, a junior at Destrehan High, and Alexa Romero, a freshman at Destrehan High, in the vocal music program and NOCCA choirs on Thursday, Feb. 3 in Lupin Hall on NOCCA’s campus, located at 2800 Chartres Street, New Orleans at 7 p.m. Narrated by WDSU Anchor Norman Robinson, this concert is a part of African American History Month at NOCCA and will be an uplifting celebration to those who have faced adversity.
