RESERVE – The East St. John High School Varsity Cheerleaders held their mini-camp during the first week in June. The mini-campers learned cheers, chants, dances and jumps. Each day they practiced appropriate warm-up and stretching exercises, then they learned and perfected their routines for the final performance in front of family members and friends on Friday. The mini-camp was held at East St. John Elementary School due to construction at the high school. The mini-campers will be performing with the varsity cheerleaders in Joe Keller Memorial Stadium Friday, Sept. 9, at the ESJH football game against St. Louis High School.
