LAPLACE – In recognition of Mother’s Day, the River Parishes Hospital Senior Friends ladies enjoyed a Royal Mother’s Day Tea Party. Members were asked to wear their most fashionable hats and played traditional tea party games while sipping hot and cold tea and nibbling on tea sandwiches, fresh fruit and sweet treats.

The Royal Mother’s Day Tea Party is just one of the many activities available to seniors through River Parishes Hospital’s Senior Friends Program. Members also receive discounts in the hospital cafeteria and gift shop, in the Fit At 50 exercise classes and at several local business in the River Parishes area. In addition, members receive valuable health, wellness and travel discounts through the National Association of Senior Friends.
