Luke “L.P.” Bourg, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2011.

He was the beloved husband of Julia Vicknair Bourg and father of Glenn Bourg (Virginia), Kenny Bourg (Paula), Debra Calcagno (Tony), Stephanie Peranio (Sammy), Trudy Torres (Robert), Mikleen Louque (Jeff), Shelly St. Amant (Mark) and Julie Cupit (Steve). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was the son of the late John and Denise Montz Bourg and brother of Neil Bourg, Renee Catoire, JoAnn Beadle, the late Leo Bourg, Buddy Bourg, Laura Trosclair and Marie Duhon.

He was a native and resident of Reserve.

Services were held Friday, May 13, 2011, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve. Burial followed in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kenny Bourg Donation Account at Capital One Bank to help fight his battle with cancer are preferred.
