BATON ROUGE — Girl Scouts Louisiana East and Dominos Pizza invites everyone to “raise some dough” during their Scouting for Supper event on Thursday, May 26, throughout southeast Louisiana. When customers bring in the Girl Scout promotional flyer to dine for lunch or dinner, Dominos Pizza will donate 20 percent of the sale to Girl Scouts Louisiana East to support its Girl Scout program.
The flyer, which can be found online at www.gsle.org or at either council office in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, is good at the following locations:
• 103 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace – 985-651-2772
• 13350 River Rd., Destrehan – 985-764-8751
• 13505 Highway 90, Boutte – 985-785-1200
Girl Scouting’s mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Community support such as this helps to raise awareness for local Girl Scout troops and supports Girl Scouting in southeast Louisiana. Girl Scouts Louisiana East offers several opportunities for donors to support Girl Scouts in outreach, at camp, in the community, or through the Girl cout leadership program. As troop membership increases, more adult volunteers are needed to lead troops or share their talents through programming possibilities.
