On Tuesday, May 3, 2011, Beverly Mahoney Langford of Destrehan passed away at the age of 80 surrounded by the love of her family.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John C. “Jack” Langford, and three daughters: Susan Klotz and husband Tom; Karen Trant and husband Wayne; and Beverly Anne Gossett and husband Rex. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Christopher Klotz, Bethany Klotz Sterritt (Robert), Allison Klotz, Charles Jones and Bailey Gossett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Mahoney of Little Rock, Ark.

Visitation will be held at St. Charles Methodist Church, 1905 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan, Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral. Interment will be held at Jefferson Memorial, 11316 River Road, St. Rose, immediately after the funeral.
