EDGARD – Residents of Edgard and the west bank of St. John the Baptist Parish should be on the lookout for intermittent lane closures on Louisiana 18 Friday and Saturday.

According to a release from the Department of Transportation, Louisiana 18 near Evergreen Plantation will close intermittently starting Friday at 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. Saturday so that a film crew can film a scene near the plantation.

DOTD said one lane of the road will be open at all times, but motorists wishing to detour can take Louisiana 640 south to Louisiana 3127, which leads to Louisiana 3213.
