The St. Charles Women’s Club recently hosted its annual TeaCup Auction at the Chateau Country Club. Over $14,000 was raised at this event. All of the proceeds go directly back into the community to non-profit organizations. There were over 360 items donated by local businesses, industry, elected officials, friends and SCWC members to auction off. Two hundred and fifty-nine tickets were sold.

The attendees were served a lunch of chicken marcello, garlic potatoes and vegetable melody. “Hats off to the Red, White and Blue” was this year’s theme. St. Charles Women’s Club is a social and civic organization founded over 40 years ago. There are currently 140 members.
