RESERVE — Scores of residents from throughout the region descended on St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve for St. John the Baptist Parish’s annual Independence Day celebration Sunday evening. The night was capped off by a 30-minute fireworks show fired from a barge on the Mississippi River.
