Representatives from the German Coast Farmers’ Market recently participated in the annual Louisiana Farmers’ Market Conference, held in Rayne. The one-day meeting, sponsored by the LSU AgCenter, featured an educational presentation by the group titled “Lessons Learned from an Eight-year-old Market.” Commissioner Mike Strain with the La. Department of Agriculture and Forestry gave the keynote address.
