LAPLACE – River Parishes Hospital announced Thanh Nguyen, PharmD, as its new director of pharmacy.

Nguyen most recently served as a staff pharmacist at East Jefferson General Hospital, as a staff pharmacist at St. Charles Parish Hospital and as the pharmacy manager at CVS Pharmacy in LaPlace. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Orleans and a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University School of Pharmacy. He brings with him over eight years of business administration experience and three years of Pharmacy experience.
