RESERVE – Several of St. John the Baptist Public School District’s students scored a Perfect 500 on various sections of the LEAP and iLEAP during spring testing.
Seventeen students scored a perfect score on one or more sections of the tests. The students were acknowledged in front of their peers, parents and other family members during a small ceremony held at the School Board Office annex in the fourth grade Demonstration Classroom. Each student was individually recognized and received a certificate and an RTC back-pack filled with a T-shirt and other goodies from the superintendent, Dr. Courtney P. Millet.
“I expect great things from all of you,” said Millet. “This is just the beginning of a great future for you. Now that you’ve achieved something very few others have, there is nothing stopping you from doing or becoming whatever you desire.”
