RESERVE – Recently, South Central Louisiana Technical College culminated its Student Government Association Adopt a Soldier Drive spearheaded by SGA President Mary Truehill and the SGA fundraising committee.
Over the last month the student body, faculty and staff have donated magazines, toiletries and various snacks to send to service members of the various branches of the armed forces who are serving overseas.
Students spent several days packaging boxes and preparing. The community of SCLTC overwhelmingly participated in this event leaving over 25 United States Postal Service flat rate boxes to ship.
