Howard G. “Rabbit” Weber passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at the age of 95. He was a native of Reserve and was born March 15, 1916.
He was married to the late Elma Mae Weber. He is survived by his son, Blain G. Weber, and daughter-in-law, Connie Weber, and three granddaughters and their husbands: Laurie and Billy Jennings, Kristie and Brian Daspit and Holly and Kevin Moore.
He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren: Austin and Nicole Daspit, Alli, Cody and Jeremy Moore and Grant and Carter Jennings.
He was the son of the late Jules “Noe” and Norma Jacob Weber, brother of Jules Weber, Earline Mollere, Helen “Dollie” Blouin and the late Norman “Shot” Weber, Hayes “Creepy” Weber and Noelie Breaud.
He was a veteran of WWII and a resident of the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home.
He retired from the Godchaux Sugar Refinery. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He will be missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by religious services in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
