The St. Charles Catholic Starsteppers performed at the American All-Star Louisiana State Dance/Drill Team Competition on Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette. The Starsteppers performed three routines and placed in their division in all three routines. They also placed over-all in the state for two of their routines. The Starsteppers received fifth place in Division I for their Jazz routine. They placed first in Division I and fourth in the state for their High Kick Routine and they also placed first in Division I and second in the state for their Prop/Novelty routine. Also, one of the Starsteppers, Lauren Snowdy, was chosen, based on her solo dance audition and personal interview, to be a member of the American All-Star Staff.
