Local chosen as LADM 2012 President

The Louisiana Association of Dance Masters recently held its 81st annual banquet and executive board installation ceremony at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Kenner.
Duanne Cazalot of Destrehan was named the organization’s 2012 chapter president. Cazalot, wife of Al Cazalot and owner of Dance Unlimited of the River Parishes, has been a member of the organization for 13 years. She has served in numerous capacities including first vice president, second vice president, recording secretary, representative and petite miss dance coordinator. She has attended and participated in the Dance Masters of America National Convention hosted throughout the country for the past 14 years.
The Louisiana Association of Dance Masters and Dance Masters of America are International Organizations of Dance Educators who have been certified by test to teach. Members have had an enormous impact on both the art and education of dance for more than a century.
