Franklin St. Pierre, 78, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012.

He was the beloved husband of Merlene St. Pierre for 57 years, father of Dale St. Pierre (Susan) and Kevin St. Pierre (Lenora), grandfather of his Darling Hearts Shelbi, Peyton, Sara and Ashlyn St. Pierre, son of the late Charley and Hedwige St. Pierre and brother of Edna St. Pierre, Irene Dixon, Emelda Louque and the late Enola and Charles St. Pierre, Velma Musso, Delta Louque and Mercedes Louque.

He was a long-time employee of River Parish Oil Company. He was a native of Grand Point and a resident of LaPlace.

Services were held Monday, June 11, 2012, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
