The LaPlace Volunteer Fire Department recently visited St. Joan of Arc School’s preschoolers. The students learned how to avoid fires as well as what to do if there is a fire in their homes. They were able to get an up-close view of what a firefighter looks like while fighting a fire and to sit in the fire truck.
