Staff Sgt. LeRoy Charles Griffin II, USMC Retired, 40, of Jacksonville, N.C., passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Griffin of Jacksonville, father, LeRoy Griffin, and mother, Renee Griffin, of Lutcher, his son, Mark Griffin, daughters Seira Griffin, Caitlyn Griffin, Gabriella Griffin and Angelina Griffin, sister, Samantha Griffin, niece, Kyra Griffin and his great nephew, T.J. Griffin.

He is also survived by his faithful companions, Blue the dog, Red the dog and Gypsy the cat.

Services and interment will take place at a later date at Arling-ton National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville.
