Gator Lagniappe at Gramercy Elementary Magnet School

Gramercy Elementary Magnet School recently began a new program called “Gator Lagniappe.” Students in grades 1–6 had the opportunity to audition for “extras activities” that are held during the regular school day. Students selected for these activities meet from 8–8:30 a.m. once or twice a week. This is in addition to an hour of “arts” instruction that all Magnet students receive daily in the areas of dance, art, music, and physical education.  Our activities include:

• Keysters – under the direction of Crystal Casaroti

• Choristers – under the direction of Crystal Casaroti

• Strummers – under the direction of Stevie Trevathan

• Gator Troupe (drama) – under the direction of Stevie Trevethan

• Gatorettes – under the direction of Angela Veron

• GEMS Gymnasts – under the direction of Kimberly Duhe’

• Physically Fit – under the direction of Coach Kyle Latiolais

• Athletic GEMS – under the direction of Coach Kyle Latiolais

• Rembrandts (art) – under the direction of Roxanne Machen
