CLEMENT

Alden A. Clement, 90, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of Vera Jacob Clement, father of Alden Clement Jr. (Michelle), stepfather of Suzette Forsythe, grandfather of Chloe and Piper Clement, Michael, Yancy, Nicole and Brett Forsythe and numerous great-grandchildren, son of the late Sidney and Eva Montz Clement and brother of Margie Guidry and the late Chester and Sidney Clement Jr.

He was an Army veteran of WW II and Korean Conflict and commander of Reserve VFW Post 5004 for more than 25 years. He was also a proud supporter of the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve.

He was a native of Lions and resident of Reserve.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation is at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Friday, May 3, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by Mass in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
