The above photo tells much of the story of Tropical Storm Karen. Although the storm threatened the area, worrying many still recovering from Hurricane Isaac, and water covered the often-flooded section of U.S. Highway 51 near Ruddock, much of the area enjoyed clear skies and pleasant weather for most of the weekend.
