HAHNVILLE – The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office will once again participate in the Nation Perscription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The purpose of this event is to allow citizens to dispose of perscription drugs that are not being used for whatever reason or may be expired. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office collected approximately nine pounds of perscription medication during last year’s drug take-back day.
The drop-off site for St. Charles Parish will be located across the street from the West Bank Bridge Park in the overflow parking lot area, adjacent to the levee. Questions about the event should be directed to Sgt. Dwayne LaGrange or Sgt. Burley McCarter at the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-783-1355.
