Fernand J. “F.J.” Aycock Jr., 83, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013.

He was the beloved son of the late Fernand J. and Palmyre Lasseigne Aycock, brother of Sister Joan Marie Aycock O.S.U.and the late Sister Damian Aycock O.S.U and Teresa Aycock Madere and uncle of Donna M. Ramirez (David), Marshall Madere (Carolyn), Kevin Madere (Donna) and Carol M. Vicknair (Wayne). He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was a native and resident of LaPlace. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Friday, April 19, 2013, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by memorial services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
