Craig A. Nelson, 61, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013.

He was the beloved father of William and Katherine Nelson, grandfather of Marcel Fajardo and Benjamin Nelson, son of the late Dale and Shirley K. Nelson and brother of Andrea Walker, Raoul and Cynthia Nelson and the late Dale Jr., Naomi and Bruce Nelson.

He was a native of California and a resident of LaPlace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services. Visitation will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway, LaPlace, on Friday, March 15, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by religious services in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be private at a later date.
