Geraldine Vicknair, 78, was born on June 27, 1936, and passed away on March 4, 2015.

She was a native of Paulina, a graduate of Lutcher High School and a resident of Grandview, Texas.

She is survived by her brothers: Leroy and wife Shirley of Paulina, Herman (Dutch) and wife Regina of French Settlement, Gerald (twin brother Pete) and wife Leona of Lake Martin, Milton (Needle Nose) and wife Dora of Sorrento, Noe̒, Jr. (Tim) of Pearland, Texas, and Wayne (Doughbelly) and wife Dorothy of Hammond.

She is also survived by her companion, Barbara Laramore, a sister-in-law, Marilyn Vicknair of Marion, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vicknair was preceded in death by her parents, Noe̒ and Elma Vicknair; siblings Charlie, Lester, Wilton, Roland, Harry, Larry, Harold, Jesse, Hubert, Clerfet, Noella and Brenda.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 11 from 8 until 10:30 a.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina at 11:00 a.m.

Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.
