In a recent court proceeding, Terry Prejean, a 33-year-old resident of Darrow, Louisiana, has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple drug possession charges. The sentence was handed down at the local courthouse, with the case presided over by the Honorable Judge Steven Tureau.

Terry Prejean, residing at 38016 Hwy 22, Darrow, LA, faced charges for possession of Schedule II and Schedule III controlled dangerous substances. The conviction comes after a thorough investigation and subsequent arrest, highlighting the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to combat drug-related crimes in the area.

Schedule II substances, known for their high potential for abuse and dependence, include drugs such as oxycodone and fentanyl. Schedule III substances, while less potent, still carry a significant risk for abuse and include medications like ketamine and anabolic steroids.
