RESERVE — St. Peter Catholic School announced its 2015 Teacher of the Year as Celeste Toups at the school’s annual Msgr. Eyraud Mass and Alumni Reunion Feb. 1.

Toups is the instructor of the school’s 2-year-old preschool and daycare program.

She is in her third year in this position and has nine years as an educator at St. Peter’s. Toups is also an alumni of the school, sponsor of the Cheerleaders and co-sponsors the Beta Club.

Principal Marie Comeaux said during the awards presentation, “the love (Celeste Toups) has for her babies is evident in everything she does.”
