St. John the Baptist Parish President Jaclyn Hotard recently partnered with Raising Cane’s LaPlace to raise funds for athletic departments at all four local high schools.
With on-site training and help from the spirited Cane’s team members, Hotard greeted community members, coaches and students from East St. John, West St. John, St. Charles Catholic and Riverside Academy in an unconventional St. John Parish Classic. Customers picked not only a combo, but also a school for Raising Cane’s to donate 15% of sales toward.
Raising Cane’s LaPlace has been a longtime supporter of the St. John Parish community. The store is also known for lending support to veterans, back to school events, and natural disaster relief efforts.
