LULING – The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation is excited to announce its partnership with Ochsner Performance Training to host a 3-day tackle football academy for kids ages 7-14 at the West Bank Bridge Park Multi-Purpose Field August 1-3 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The academy costs $50 per participant, and parents can register their children online here through July 31.

Participants will master the basics of tackle football, emphasizing safety through proper heads-up tackling techniques and blocking skills.

Ochsner Performance Training has a versatile coaching staff that will also provide instruction for all positions along with football-specific speed and agility work.
