Kathy Lunsford Cole passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the age of 75. She was a native of Minden, LA and a resident of Gonzales, LA. Kathy had a Master’s degree in special education and was a teacher in St. John Parish for 21 years. Kathy also enjoyed watching and cheering on various sports teams. She is survived by her  daughter, Wendy Cole Hoffman (Chase Hampton Hoffman); sons, Ryan Scott Cole (Jessica Lemoine Cole), Clayton Todd Burgess, and Kevin Lee Burgess; grandchildren, Hailey Burgess, Megan Burgess, Jarrett Burgess, Bradley Hoffman, William Cole, Thayer Hoffman, and Thomas Cole. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Cole; parents, Dorlese Martin Lunsford and Charles Lunsford; and sister, Rebecca Lunsford Turner. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home.
