LAPLACE — The Knights of Columbus Ascension of Our Lord Council 9623 will host a red beans and rice with sausage fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, November 4 under the tent outside of AOL Catholic School at 1809 Greenwood Drive in LaPlace. Meals are $10 and include bread and a dessert.

The 2022 Fried Turkey fundraiser will also take place this month. Order your 10-12 pound delicious fried turkey by calling Larry at 504-462-3668 for an order form and instructions. Re-heating instructions will be included with each turkey purchased. Cash, checks, debit and credit cards are accepted. All purchases made with a debit and/or credit card must be handled through Larry.

Turkeys are specially prepared, seasoned and cooked by Council 9623, and all funds raised are used to support all charitable activities. A limited amount of turkeys have been allocated this year. To secure a delicious fried turkey, place your order early and prior to November 10, 2022. The price is $45. Orders may also be placed with any member of AOL Council 9623, or Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Rectory at 799 E. Frisco Drive in LaPlace. You may also mail requests to AOL Council 9623 at 2004 E. Frisco Drive in LaPlace.

Pick up time for your turkey will be between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., November 23, 2022, under the tent in the church parking lot across from the school at 1900 Greenwood Drive in LaPlace.

There will be a chance to win a Christmas fried turkey or fried ham. Every individual that purchases a fried turkey will be placed in a drawing. The first winner will have their choice and the remaining item will go to the second winner. Please direct any and all questions to Larry.
