LAPLACE – Final collection for Hurricane Ida debris in St. John Parish will begin on October 17, 2022, and run through October 30, 2022. Residents are asked to separate all remaining debris into two piles, construction/demolition debris and vegetative debris and bring to roadside for final pickup.

During the final pass, the debris contractor will canvas each street and collect all remaining debris. Residents who miss final debris collection can bring debris to the debris collection sites at 356 Airport Road in Reserve and 3901 LA 18 in Edgard until October 31.

After October 31, debris collection will resume back to normal operations. Since collection began, crews have collected over 1 million cubic yards of debris in St. John Parish.
