Sophie Troxclair Clesi, a native of Mt. Airy and a resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at the age of 92.

She is survived by one sister-in-law, Mary Helen Troxclair (late Huey) of Lutcher and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raoul ‘Ralph’ Anthony Clesi; parents Lezaine J. Troxclair and Bertha Champagne Troxclair; three brothers, Glenn Troxclair, Allen Troxclair and Huey Troxclair; and three sisters, Gladys Troxclair Toups (Reed), Lillian Troxclair Petrocelli (Charles) and Hazel Troxclair Schwarz.

Clesi was born July 7, 1922, on Angelina Plantation in Mt. Airy. She graduated from Leon Godchaux High School in Reserve and Marinella Beauty School. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts and spending quality time with family and friends.

Relatives and friends attended the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace Monday, Oct. 13.

Interment was in St. Peter Cemetery.
