RESERVE — State Legislators Troy Brown, Clay Schexnayder, Randal Gaines and Gary Smith Jr. — in coordination with St. John Parish officials and the Department of Health and Hospitals — will host a community meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday to respond to any concerns regarding the water-related Emergency Order.

The meeting will be held at Regala Gymnasium, located at 194 Regala Park Road in Reserve.

State Health Officer and DHH Medical Director Dr. Jimmy Guidry will be present to address medical questions related to ameba and the chlorine burn.

Parish representatives will also be in attendance to answer questions regarding the ongoing efforts to comply with the Emergency Order issued by DHH.

Residents are invited to attend.
