GRAMERCY — St. James Parish is proud to announce that monthly Farmers Market Saturdays will be held locally beginning on June 11 in Gramercy.
As a parish filled with farmers, gardeners, crafters and small businesses, St. James Parish wants to provide an easy way to access amazing locally grown, hand-made, authentically created items and produce to residents.
The June 11 event will be a soft launch, starting off slow to ensure a successful event for the future.
The St. James Parish Farmers Market will be held the second Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tourist Center Pavilion in Gramercy.
This event is open to all local St. James Parish farmers, gardeners, crafters, and food vendors. This event is for the sale of locally grown produce, authentic hand-crafted crafts and food only. No mass-produced or store-bought items will be permitted.
There will initially be 10 vendor spots open, and the Farmers Market is expected to grow in the future.
