On Sunday, April 3rd 2022 at approximately 1:15 pm, deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a truck that pulled down a wire and pole near Highway 90 Eastbound and WPA Road in Des Allemands, LA. Highway 90 Eastbound is shutdown at the intersection. Highway 90 Eastbound traffic is being diverted in Lafourche Parish to Old Spanish Trail. Highway 90 Westbound traffic is being stopped intermittently. The traffic light at the intersection is not functioning and drivers should expect delays in that area.
