Thomas Bourgeois was born on July 18, 1947, and passed away on Dec. 15, 2014.

He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Paulina.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtie Lambert Bourgeois; children Thomas Bourgeois Jr., Lori Bourgeois and step-daughter Vickie Troxclair.

Bourgeois is also survived by his siblings Millie (Pat) Matherne and Mark (Gail) Roussel. He was preceded in death by his parents Percy and Celina Roussel, brother Lester Bourgeois Jr. and Calvin Bourgeois.

He was a Marathon Oil retiree.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, from 9 until 10:45 a.m. at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, masses or donations to St. James Parish ARC, 29150 Health Unit St., Vacherie, LA 70090 preferred.
