Theft of Game Cameras in the Ama Area.

On Saturday, February 19th, 2022, just after 2 pm, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the reported theft of three game cameras in the wooded area near PM Lane in Ama.
The theft occurred on Thursday, February 17th, 2022 just after 5 pm. The last picture taken shows three subjects trespassing on the property.
The investigation is on-going.
Citizens in the area with home surveillance or Ring camera systems are asked to review their video footage and are urged to contact Det. Josh Deroche of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985) 783-6807 or (985) 783-1135, if they observe any suspicious activity that may be related to the incident.
